It's SSS! This weeks theme is Sepia or Black & White. I took this picture this Summer of Logan & Brady. We walked 3 houses down to feed the ducks, remember? I love it in Sepia! I looks all Andy Griffin-ish, ha!
Here's the original.

Yes I did get all of my Christmas decorations done this week. I bought the tree on Monday & have the lights on it & in the living room. The boys & I will decorate it tonight. The week has just been too busy so tonight will be perfect!
Logan & I went to buy the tree together on Monday afternoon. I am incredibly short & bought an 8 foot tree. Our kitchen is quite large, so we always put the tree in its stand in the kitchen. It allows the branches to settle & I can walk all the way around it to put the light's on. Then the clean up is a breeze! I just have to sweep up the needles instead of them being embedded in my carpet. Anyways...even with my step stool, I couldn't reach the top of the tree. You kinda have to start the lights at the top & I just stood there thinking for a minute. Then it hit me! I grabbed the kitchen tongs & bodda bing, bodda bang! I could reach! Yes...Yes I did.
Last night I had to beat some sense talk Jordan out of buying an $80 ring for his girlfriend. They have only been an item for a few weeks. He just turned 13 & I thought it was a little excessive. Yes I did tell him that whatever he decided to do...that he would NEVER ask a girl to give back anything he ever buys for her. I wanted him to understand that if they break up after Christmas, that he had just blown almost a $100! Yes I did also tell him that I thought he was going to be a great husband. As the lady at the jewelry counter would suggest something, he would inform her that it wasn't big enough...sigh...be still my heart, ha!
